Okay; this is heartbreaking, but it does tell us something...
We got Josh ready today; Stormie got him in the car and we both waited with him at the bus stop. When the bus came, he got out of the car all happy-flappy; he then got his backpack on and then ran happily to the school bus. As soon as he got to the bus, he turned around and said "I don't feel good, I'm sick". The bus driver had to leave and then Stormie had to take him to school. She got there and he wouldn't get out of the car, just the way he did at the beginning of the school year.
It finally took the resource officer to get him into school. The asked Stormie if she was okay because she was in tears. She stated that she was just frustrated, which she was.
She parked by the Civic Center near the school and waited to see if they would call. I was headed to work in when this all happened, so I called the school to see if they got him in and they had. I don't know if this constitutes a crisis or not, but I think Stormie and I could definitely use some support.
As for what it tells us, it tells me that we are doing everything we can do by ourselves. We have made the process of getting ready for school positive as well as waiting for the school bus too.
