Well, he did wake up and say "I don't feel good" several times and said that he couldn't make it to school today; however, Stormie played Bananagrams with him while they waited to leave for the bus stop. He got in the car without too much complaint this time and he played riddles and such with Stormie while they waited.
When the bus came, he was very anxious. He said he was afraid of the color of the bus(he never was before), and said that he was sick etc... but.. he did get on the bus at least after all of that.
We know that we can make the wait as pleasant and positive as possible, but we aren't sure about how to make him not be afraid of the bus itself.
Well, I just heard from my wife; She says that Josh got 100% on his behavior chart for the whole day. This is the first time he has ever made 100% on the behavior chart and this is after he said he didn't feel good enough to go to school today! :)
