Moving and Lots of Changes

Whew!

Its been almost 2 years since my last post here and there have been so many changes for us.

In my last post regarding our trials and tribulations of Joshua, we had tried him on new medicine that did not work so well, and we kept having trouble getting him to get on the bus to go to school.   I would go to the office and hope and pray that he would get on the bus or, I would stay with him until he got on the bus.  Sometimes, he wouldn't get on the bus and I would have to just take him back to the apartment and let my wife take him to either the doctor or to school, sometimes both.

I was still working a 40 hour a week job and practicing with a band 3 days a week at that time.

Several things happened since then..

  1. My wife took a retail job during the Christmas of 2014
  2. It snowed a lot that first month of January.
  3. Josh had his ups and downs, but we got through it.
  4. Around the middle of the year, my Father in Law passed away, joining his wife in heaven.
  5. We went to the International Festival in Nashville as a family and we got inside the Parthenon.
  6. My wife and took about 6 months to decide, that our best option is to live here in the condo.
Our health has improved since that time; unknown to us, our apartment had some mold in it, which caused some breathing issues for all of us.  Its no wonder that Josh didn't feel good... perhaps he really didn't feel good after all.  We just didn't know it.

He is happier here in the condo and the bus comes right be us to pick him up.  It was a real treat to see him get on the bus so excitedly again.

We have been blessed, albeit this gift came as a result of my Father in Law's passing.  We did not want him to pass of course, but this gift is truly that... a gift.

Josh is still immature for his age, but at least he is happy.
