Well that didn't work

Morning all!

He still said "I don't feel good" this morning and still won't go to school.  My wife is taking him to doctor again to see what's happening, but I doubt its actually a health issue.  Gracie maybe right about by saying that the stress of upcoming TCAPs is what's causing him to freak out about school.  It could also be about Common Core Standards as well.

The teachers all say "No no no, he can do the work, etc. etc. etc" but they are not the ones trying to get him out the door and to school.  That's my wife and so far, nothing we have tried has done any good at all.

We need answers and we need them yesterday.  We are 2 stressed out parents trying our best with special needs child, people and although the change in schools has helped, we are now faced with the same issues yet again and again.

Its not the lack of fiber(which can help with his digestion; its not the bed, its not that he isn't getting enough sleep and if we attempt to force it, it just seems to make it worse and worse.

He has an appt with another medical facility in our town next month, but that can't come soon enough and I hope they can help, really help. All we are trying to get him to do is get to school, that's all.  It shouldn't be this difficult, but it is.

  1. I took him to the walk in clinic and it still is a bad cold and fluid on the left ear. His primary doc was not in today and his ENT was of course booked solid. He has had this cold since early last week. So, we have medicines for congestion. I am ready for this year to be over. I am tired of trying to get him on the bus every morning.
